Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) bowed out of the ongoing 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) after a heartbreaking defeat against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 6 wickets in the Eliminator on Friday, November 6, Friday at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

With this loss, RCB’s 13-year long wait for their maiden IPL crown continues and they will be looking forward to bouncing back stronger next year. The Bangalore outfit’s leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, who had a good season with the ball, is still in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as he will be boarding the flight to Sydney.

Chahal is a part of the 32-member team that will fly to Australia right after the final of the ongoing T20 extravaganza on November 10 in Dubai. The India tour of Australia comprises three-match ODI series, starting on November 27 followed by matches on November 29 and December 2.

This will be followed by three T20 Internationals on December 4, 6 and 8. The four-match Test series will then commence from December 17 in Adelaide.

Yuvraj Singh’s hilarious comment at Yuzvendra Chahal’s post

Chahal is a part of the ODI and T20I squads but is yet to make his debut in the longest format of the game. On November 8, Sunday, the Indian stalwart took to his official Twitter handle to post a picture of himself relaxing on the beach after a hectic schedule. It was a sponsored tweet to promote the GoPro camera.

The 30-year-old captioned the post as, “Sublime sunsets, solace captured on my brand new #GoProHERO9 Black #MoreEverything #GoPro #GoProIndia @GoPro @GoProIndia”

Taking note of the tweet, the former Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh, who is known for his wit and humour, took a cheeky dig at the leg-spinner. Poking fun at the bowler for RCB getting knocked out of the tournament, Yuvraj asked if Chahal would be watching the final of IPL 2020 from the GoPro camera or will go to the stadium.

“You’re going to watch the final on go pro or going to stadium to watch ?” Yuvraj commented

Chahal finished the 2020 edition of the cash-rich league with 21 wickets under his belt, the most any spinner in IPL 2020, in 15 fixtures at an economy of 7.08 and average of 19.28, 3/18 being his most economical spell.
