ZIM vs IND: Where to Watch, Schedule, Squads, and All you need to know

After a very successful tour of the West Indies, team India will now challenge Zimbabwe in a three-match ODI series. The series is scheduled to begin on the 18th of August under the leadership of Shikhar Dhawan. With many senior players taking some time off, the young guns will have another opportunity to establish their class in international cricket.

Meanwhile, the hosts will be more than confident this time. Playing against Bangladesh, Zimbabwe registered their maiden T20I series win over a Test-playing nation and are also leading 2-0 in the ODI series. 

The team has looked really confident in the first two ODI matches against Bangladesh. Sikandar Raza has scored two back-to-back hundreds and is currently in the form of his life. If he keeps up with the momentum, young Indian bowlers will be under some kind of pressure. 

Regis Chakabva and Innocent Kaia have played some good cricket as well. Kaia helped the team go past the finish line in the first match with his century while Chakabva did the same in the second ODI. When it comes to their bowling, Raza has been fantastic again. Others are chipping in nicely and the team effort is there for everyone to see.

The young Indian squad will be under the scanner. With Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, Rishabh Pant, Jasprit Bumrah, Yuzvendra Chahal all given rest, Shikhar Dhawan’s job as a captain will not be an easy one However, he did a splendid job against West Indies where India won the series 3-0.
