Despite Kuldeep Yadav’s absence due to injury, India still has the likes of Axar Patel, Ravi Bishnoi and Yuzvendra Chahal in the mix, and each of the spinners can make a difference in the playing XI considerably. Bishnoi was quite impressive in the T20Is against Sri Lanka and there is a possibility of India playing both Bishnoi and Chahal in the XI.

On the other hand, Yuzvendra Chahal finished as the top wicket-taker in the season with 27 scalps and played a big part in the Rajasthan Royals reaching the finals. The leg spinner has got all the variations under his belt and he has the ability to turn around games with the ball quickly.

Chahal in the 2018 tour of South Africa, was quite lethal and the same would be expected again in this series, given that he has enjoyed bowling against the opposition. It will also help India in the long run especially in the 50-over format, where Chahal can be strangle the run flow in the middle overs.
