After the completion of the three-match T20I series against New Zealand, India would be eager to flaunt their show in the longest format of the game as well. India has already taken an unassailable lead in the T20Is and the last match at Kolkata would be a mere formality for both sides.

Talking about the Test games which will be held at Kanpur and Mumbai respectively, it remains to be seen with what combination will India step up to make the event memorable. India is spoiled with choices in every department of the game and it is not even new for them. However, in this scenario, many cricketers won’t find a place in the XI of the team. KS Bharat’s selection can be a little surprising as he is yet to debut for India across any format and earlier, he has been only added to the squad as injury covers. It is unlikely that Andhra Pradesh cricketer will be able to make a cut in the XI for Test games.

Talking about his career statistics, he has played 78 FC games with more than four thousand runs to his credit. He has also been part of 61 T20 games where he has 1050 runs to his name.

He recently grabbed a lot of limelight in the second phase of IPL 2021 where he played a game-changing knock against DC and smashed a last-ball six to stun all.
