In recent years India has created the best cricket production line in the world. Several players are sweating it out to get to the next level. The skill sets of Indian cricketers have improved leaps and bounds. Sadly only a handful of them is getting the chance to represent the Blue team internationally.

Among them, certain players make the most of their opportunities and establish themselves in the side. While others failed to cash in or never get the long rope in the international arena. These players are dropped frequently and then they grind it out in the grade cricket. Even the rise of youngsters has not helped their cause. Most probably they will not be favoured by the selectors anymore.

Here is the list of 5 active Indian cricketers who will never make a national comeback

1. Manoj Tiwary

Has anybody ever thought what if the famous English star, Kevin Pietersen played for India? Surprisingly it did happen when his supposed alter ego, Manoj Tiwary was scoring a truckload of runs for Bengal in the domestic circuit. In his initial days, the right-hander’s aggressive style of play was quite similar to KP. His hard work paid off when he was added to the senior squad in 2007.

Unfortunately, he got himself injured in the training session before the game and had to wait another 10 months for his international cap. Only in his second series Tiwary stroked a defining century against the visiting West Indies side. He looked a long term prospect for the Blue team but became a bridesmaid who remained in the shadow of regular stars.

Tiwary played a total of 11 matches for India and the last one coming way back in 2014. Thereafter he toiled hard in the domestic arena and also impressed with his IPL outings. Still, Tiwary never caught the attention of selectors and recently he was even ignored for the Duleep trophy. He showed his disappointment via a series of tweets and now it is highly unlikely that he will don the Blue jersey again.
