Amit Mishra has the unique record of picking up the most hat-tricks in the history of league- three. He has been among the best spinners to have ever played in this league. He has represented Deccan Chargers, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and the Delhi Capitals in IPL. Mishra has picked up 157 wickets in 147 games at an economy of 7.35 runs per over.

The leggie had a good season last year, picking up 11 wickets in as many matches, at a highly economical 6.75 runs per over. He also won a Player of the Match award against the Royals at the Arun Jaitley Stadium last year.

With the IPL now happening in the UAE, Mishra would have a huge role to play for the Delhi Capitals. He will be expected to lead the spin attack, and guide the likes of Sandeep Lamichhane and Axar Patel.
