Gordon Drummond made his debut in international cricket in the year 2007 and he went on to play 30 ODIs and 17 T20Is for Scotland. He captained the nation for a while being a fast bowling all-rounder and picked up 25 wickets in ODIs while picking up 16 in T20Is. He was a handy lower-order batter capable of clearing the ropes at ease.

Gordon last played for Scotland in 2013 and throughout his career, he played a lot of crucial innings for his country in the lower middle order which earned him a big reputation as a notable all-rounder.

Gordon’s sister Annette Drummond made her international debut in 2003 for Scotland against the Netherlands and she was dismissed for a duck opening the innings. She did not have the best of careers, scoring just nine runs in her five innings for Scotland despite getting a long run.
