Ed Joyce was one of the most talented cricketers who played for both Ireland and England in his international career. A left-handed elegant batter played one Test, 78 ODIs and 18 T20Is from the period of 2006 to 2018. He played for England in the 2007 World Cup and then switched his country to play for Ireland in the 2011 World Cup.

Ed scored six centuries and 16 half centuries in his international career and is currently the head coach of the Ireland Women’s side. His brother Dom Joyce also played for Ireland in three ODIs in 2006 and 2007 as a right-handed top-order batter and they played against each other as opponents for different countries.

Ed had twin sisters Cecelia and Isobel and the duo played for Ireland across formats for a long time. Isobel played one Test, 79 ODIs and 55 T20Is as a left-arm medium all-rounder while Cecelia played 57 ODIs and 43 T20Is for the Ireland Women as a right-handed opening batter.
