1. 77 Runs in an over:


In the 1989-90 season of the Shell Trophy, R. H. Vance, who was bowling for Wellington, had strict orders from his captain Ervin McSweeney to bowl full-toss lobs without any run up. Vance was instructed to bowl 17 deliberate no-balls which he did, and ended up conceding a world-record of 77 runs in one over!.
