The 20-year old Afghanistan youngster is undoubtedly among the best spinners in limited overs format currently. He made his international debut at the age of 17 in 2015 and since then has emerged as one of the best leg spinners in shorter forms of the game. In a short period of time, Rashid Khan has become one of the leading and probably the most popular cricketer from Afghanistan.

In 2017, Rashid Khan was bought by the Sunrisers Hyderabad team at INR 4 crore as he fetched the highest bid for any associate nation player in the history of IPL. Since then, there has been no looking back for the youngster as in the past few years he has become one of the most important players of the Sunrisers team.

He has already participated in all major T20 leagues around the globe and with time will only improve as a player. If he is able to continue his good performance in the coming years, sooner or later, Rashid Khan will become the first Afghanistan player to captain an IPL side.
