Kamran was given an IPL contract worth Rs 17 Lakhs by the franchise and he travelled with Royals to South Africa in the second season of Indian Premier League.
The left-hander grabbed six wickets in his debut season. He also helped Royals in winning a crucial Super over against <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/ipl-2020-3-players-who-can-replace-chris-green-at-kolkata-knight-riders/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Kolkata Knight Riders</a>. However, soon his bowling action was brought under the scanner that was called for chucking by umpire Rudi Koertzen during a match. He was sent to rehab for a couple of weeks but he failed to produce the same performance again with his new bowling action.
Soon, the dream run of Kamran Khan came to an end. He was picked by Pune Warriors back in 2011 and he got one chance to prove his worth. But, he yet again failed to produce a breakthrough performance for his team. After that, he never played an IPL game. He also played in the Sri Lankan Premier League for Colts in 2013. And as per records, his last T20 appearance came in 2013 playing in the same. There have been certain reports that now he works in his brother&#8217;s farm field.

<h3>3. Manvinder Bisla </h3>

Manvinder Bisla, the right-handed opener and one of the heroes that helped <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/ipl-2020-3-players-who-can-replace-chris-green-at-kolkata-knight-riders/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Kolkata Knight Riders</a> in lifting the IPL title back in 2012. He played a memorable knock of 89 runs off 48 balls against Chennai Super Kings in the finals. He was one of the emerging stars in that season and the fans were hopeful that he would certainly make into the national side on the back of his brilliant batting.
The hopes were quite high that in the next season, he will come much stronger than before and the same happened. He amassed 236 runs in 14 games for KKR. Everything was going smoothly for the Haryana cricketer, who was having the best time of his life as a cricketer. However, bad days can arrive anytime without any signal. Bisla was released by KKR after having a poor season.
In 2015, he was picked by Royal Challengers Bangalore where he played two games before his IPL career came to a halt. He was finding it tough to keep up with the pace due to which his form severely dipped. After that, he never took the field for any IPL franchise.
Bisla soon turned his focus to domestic cricket playing for Goa in Ranji Trophy but he failed to retain his place there as well. He played his last official game back in 2017. It looks like after taking off from cricket, he has shifted his focus to commentary, who was spotted doing the same in an IPL game in the previous season.
<h3>4. Manpreet Gony</h3>

Manpreet Gony, the right arm tall heightened bowler from Punjab reaped lots of success in his debut season. His deck hitting abilities used to unsettle batsmen while batting. In the inaugural season of IPL, he was picked by <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/ipl-2020-3-reasons-why-chennai-super-kings-csk-will-win-the-tournament/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Chennai Super Kings</a> and he turned out to be their surprise package, who amazed everyone with his quick bowling. He grabbed 17 wickets in 16 games for his team. Moreover, the right-arm pacer ended up being the leading wicket-taker for CSK.
After a successful stint in IPL, he received a national call up for the Asia Cup. He didn&#8217;t had a great debut game playing for Men in Blue as he went wicketless recording bowling figures of 0/11. In the next match against Bangladesh, he opened his account as he took two wickets.
But, who knew that that was his last international appearance. He again headed towards the IPL with a wish to repeat his success for CSK but that never happened. After successive failure, he was released by CSK but he was picked by Kings XI Punjab. However, he failed to prove his worth for his new franchise. Gony&#8217;s last appearance in IPL came in 2017 playing for Gujarat Lions.
In 2019, he bid adieu to international cricket and shifted his focus to T20 leagues as a freelance cricketer. He walked on the footsteps of Yuvraj Singh and played for Toronto Nationals in the  Canada Global T20 League. In an interview, Gony also accepted the fact that after taking retirement he will keep playing for different teams in the franchise cricket.
<h3>5. Shadab Jakati </h3>

Shadab Jakati, the left-arm off-spinner hogged the spotlight with his impressive performance in the inaugural season of IPL. He played for <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/mahi-will-take-a-decision-for-himself-msk-prasad-opens-up-on-ms-dhonis-retirement-speculations/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">MS Dhoni&#8217;s</a> led side Chennai Super Kings and grabbed 13 wickets in his nine outings. The 39-year-old attracted everyone&#8217; s sight after he took two back to back four-wicket haul in the IPL. Moreover, he played a crucial role in CSK&#8217;s title triumph in 2010 and 2011.
The left-arm spinner played for CSK, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Gujarat Lions (he was part of the team but never featured in a game). There were some voices that he might get a chance to make debut for Team India in the shorter format but Ravichandran Ashwin got the chance to play ahead of him for the Men in Blue in 2011.
After some seasons, he started fading away due to his poor form with the ball. He never looked the old Jakati, who did exceedingly well for CSK in his first three seasons. On the other hand, he kept on playing for Goa in the domestic circuit for a considerable amount of time.
In the year 2019, he bid adieu to all forms of cricket and shifted his focus to coaching. He also tried his hands in regional political where he didn&#8217;t get much success. In the year 2019, Jakati, who had not played a single game in the span of a year, was appointed as the assistant coach for Edmonton Royals in Global T20 Canada league and he worked under CSK&#8217;s head coach Stephen Fleming. Now, there are reports that he will look to pursue his career in the same field in upcoming years.
