Manvinder Bisla, the right-handed opener and one of the heroes that helped Kolkata Knight Riders in lifting the IPL title back in 2012. He played a memorable knock of 89 runs off 48 balls against Chennai Super Kings in the finals. He was one of the emerging stars in that season and the fans were hopeful that he would certainly make into the national side on the back of his brilliant batting.

The hopes were quite high that in the next season, he will come much stronger than before and the same happened. He amassed 236 runs in 14 games for KKR. Everything was going smoothly for the Haryana cricketer, who was having the best time of his life as a cricketer. However, bad days can arrive anytime without any signal. Bisla was released by KKR after having a poor season.

In 2015, he was picked by Royal Challengers Bangalore where he played two games before his IPL career came to a halt. He was finding it tough to keep up with the pace due to which his form severely dipped. After that, he never took the field for any IPL franchise.

Bisla soon turned his focus to domestic cricket playing for Goa in Ranji Trophy but he failed to retain his place there as well. He played his last official game back in 2017. It looks like after taking off from cricket, he has shifted his focus to commentary, who was spotted doing the same in an IPL game in the previous season.
