Former Sri Lankan legendary opener Sanath Jayasuriya is one of the most destructive players to have ever played the game. It was elegance personified while he was batting and often has sent shivers down the spines of the bowlers. The left-hander provided his side with great starts more often than not and doubled up as a handy left-arm orthodox bowler. With over 21,000 runs, there might not be many left-handers better than him. Interestingly, Jayasuriya also had an interesting idiosyncrasy.
