Navdeep Saini
Navdeep Saini burst on to the international scene during India’s tour of the West Indies back in August. In the very first game he played the Delhi fast bowler ended with a spell of 4-1-17-3. In the 20th over of the Caribbean innings, the speedster turned up with a wicket-maiden, including the wicket of Kieron Pollard.
Just when he was performing in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, thunder stroke. Saini developed a groin injury and he missed most of Delhi’s campaign in the SMAT as well. Moreover, the seamer missed out India’s home T20Is versus Bangladesh and the West Indies.
However, he came back and made his ODI debut in Cuttack on December 22. Of late, Saini got a fifer against Andhra in the Ranji Trophy. A good outing in Bangladesh can do a world of good to him.
