Seeing the buys by franchises in this year’s IPL Player Auction, one can notably take one thing into account, all eight franchise were looking to spend a handsome amount on left-arm fast bowlers. From India’s Jaydev Unadkat to Australia’s Mitchell Starc, all have been bought for a whopping price. Keeping into account the skill set Amir has, he could have well been handy with the ball in the sub-continent conditions.
Amir has all the elements which are needed to shine at this level from being able to bowl at lightning fast speed to the ability to menacing bouncers. He has played 35 International matches for Pakistan and snared 41 wickets at an economy of just 6.82.
