The World Cup a few paces away, a few teams have already arrived on the English soil for the warm-up matches. Most of the participants are entering the tournament high on confidence. Though there are only 10 teams in this edition, each one looks equally potent with their ammunition. With jam-packed stadiums and British summer, the players will definitely enjoy their time while playing one of the celebrated events of cricket.

The preliminary squad of each team was announced a month ago, and now some of the sides have disclosed their final 15 with minor changes. Every team consists of genuine match-winners who can take their side to the victory on their own. Along with them, there are certain individuals who made the cut because of their international experience. As it is a high-pressure tournament these players have got the nod ahead, even though they are not regular in the team set-up.

Here are the players who are irregular in ODI team but sealed the World Cup berth

1. Nathan Coulter Nile – Australia

The player from Perth is another gem from the land down under, as he has the potential to become one of the best fast bowlers in the world. Nathan Coulter-Nile made his debut in 2013 and in 6 years he has played 27 ties. The speedster can generate serious pace and bounce on good tracks. Throughout his career, he has been bogged down by a series of niggles, and that is the reason why he has represented Kangaroos in only 7 out of 17 series after the 2015 World Cup.

Coulter-Nile can tear apart any batting line-up on his day and his record in the international circuit is impressive. He has taken 48 wickets at a strike rate of 29 which shows his wicket-taking abilities but he has broken down far too many times. Apart from his bowling, he can also play useful cameos down the order and it is useful in tournaments like the World Cup. The Australian selectors have backed the pacer because of his immense talent as he can be the game-changer for the Finch-led side.
