4. Colin de Grandhomme
For New Zealand, Colin de Grandhomme has been doing a good job in the shortest format of the game. With the bat, he scored 309 runs in 11 innings at a strike rate of 157 which also includes three fifties. While he hasn’t had a lot of bowling to do, he could take up a slightly different role in the IPL.
After the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) decided to leave him ahead of IPL 2018, the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) were interested about him. It was RCB who got him ultimately at INR 2.20 crores.
By buying him back, the Bengaluru-based franchise can have him bat at number four and give him full freedom to play his shots. Thereby, he can add some quick runs to the tally. If required, they can use him as the occasional sixth bowler.
