3. Heinrich Klaasen – CSK
The South Africa wicketkeeper-batsman, Heinrich Klaasen made it to the IPL on the back of his fine performances for his nation in the series against India. He played for the Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2018 before switching to the Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2019.
The right-handed batsman had played decently in his debut season however, he could not do so while playing for RCB. Klaasen scored only 9 runs in 3 matches for the Bangalore-based franchise, with his highest score being 6. As a result, he was ousted from the franchise.
But, one should note that a lot of talented players have had off-seasons in the past and Heinrich has the potential to bounce back in style in IPL 2020. Since CSK need a back-up keeper after releasing Sam Billings, they could opt for the services of Klaasen.
