5. Colin de Grandhomme – CSK
New Zealand’s all-rounder, Colin de Grandhomme had not performed up to the mark for Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2019. He played 4 matches for the franchise in season 12, scoring 46 runs at a poor strike rate of 93.87. Also, he could not scalp a single wicket in the five overs he bowled.
Colin leaked runs at a hammering rate of 11.00 thus, RCB released him prior to the auction. The Kiwi has performed well after the culmination of the 2019 IPL as he had been excellent for New Zealand in the 2019 World Cup.
Besides, he has a considerable amount of experience of playing in Indian conditions. Since Chennai Super Kings need a back-up option for DJ Bravo, the three-time winners will look to sign the 33-year-old all-rounder.
