In the present scenario, the Three Lions are one of the dominant forces in white-ball cricket. A decade ago the situation was quite different as England was criticized for their age-old tactics in the limited-overs format. Still, they managed to stun the world when they won the 2010 WT20 with a complete team effort.

The current England ODI skipper was a part of that team. He made some telling contributions that led the side to the glory road. Morgan is a terrific white-ball player and in full-flow, he can create any batting record. In that winning campaign, the southpaw piled on 183 runs and notably, he finished the series as the second-best run-getter for the Brits. Thereafter he became a hot property in the T20 leagues and he has played for as many as 4 teams in IPL.

In 2010 he was bagged by the Bangalore team but was released in a year. Then he served the Kolkata team for a couple of seasons where he managed to score runs but didn’t have a breakthrough season. In the following years, he also visited Hyderabad and Punjab dressing room but didn’t enjoy his stint. Now he is always present in the list of unsold players.
