Team India star all-rounder Hardik Pandya is currently in the form of his life. Pandya recently led team India to a series victory against Ireland before performing extremely well against England during the limited-over matches. Pandya has continued his good form against the West Indies as well.

Earlier, Pandya had also led the new entrants Gujarat Titans (GT) and won the 2022 Indian Premier League (IPL). To note, Hardik idolizes South Africa’s veteran all-rounder Jacques Kallis and had earlier stated that he wanted to do everything for his country, just like Kallis did for South Africa.

I try to give my best: Hardik Pandya

Filled with confidence, Hardik now wants to become Hardik Pandya of India. In an interview with a senior journalist, he was asked whether he has become Hardik Pandya of India. To which Hardik replied, “Aap bate sakte hai sir, mujhe toh nahi pata. Mera to naam hi Hardik Pandya hai toh banne ki zarurat nahi hai Hardik.(You can tell that, sir. I don’t know. My name is already Hardik so I don’t need to become one),” replied Hardik in a video shared on the journalist’s YouTube channel.

“I try to give my best. If someone isn’t able to do what I am doing right now, I might have become India’s all-rounder,” he added.

Talking about Hardik’s recent performance, the right-handed batter scored an excellent 31 against the Men in Maroon during the second T20I fixture, but could only manage to score four runs during the third match. However, Pandya was excellent with the ball as he gave away just 19 runs in his four-over quota and also scalped the wicket of opener Brandon King.

The star all-rounder is expected to be seen in action during the fourth T20I encounter to be played on August 6 (Saturday). Meanwhile, the Men in Blue have gained a lead in the five-match T20I series and will back themselves to win the fourth encounter as well to grab the series.
