Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers batting together is like a dream for the cricket fans. It always comes true during the Indian Premier League (IPL) as the duo sets the stage on fire at least once together on the 22 yards. Their camaraderie towards each other is well known to others and are always busy praising each other. Meanwhile, the South African superstar has spared time to wish the Indian Superman on the occasion of his 30th birthday.
Kohli is no wonder the most followed cricketer in the world and he’s been on such a run-scoring spree that some of the experts are calling him G.O.A.T. Moreover, during the IPL 2017 , the Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper was only few runs away from scoring a whopping 1000 runs as Virat had taken his team to the final single-handedly.
Even De Villiers’ contribution to the team was immensely important at that time and both were in each other’s awe as they had done the unthinkable during the season.
The never-ending partnership
AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli love batting together. They send shivers down the spines of the opposition when on the 22 yards. Even the stats prove the same. The duo has scored 2525 runs in 60 innings while batting in partnerships and have smothered the white cherry numerous times.
On the occasion of his birthday, the internationally retired AB de Villiers hoped for a special birthday for his Indian friend and wished him in the best possible way.
The big 30! Happy bday my friend. Hope it’s one very special day🎉@imVkohli
