The fifth edition of the Abu Dhabi T10 League is all set to commence on Friday, November 19. The matches are scheduled to be played at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. The Emirates Cricket Board is hosting this star-studded league which is the only T10 tournament in the world sanctioned by the International Cricket Council (ICC).

Owing to the excitement and the thrill of the T10 league, it has fetched the attention of a lot of the on-lookers. Over the course of time, some prominent players have participated in the league to further increase the fandom of the competition.

Even this year, the league has attracted a few key names with the likes of  Yusuf Pathan, Faf du Plessis, and Jason Roy, being some of them. As the new season of the high-profile tournament is all set to begin, the cricketing fraternity is already excited.

Here are the 5 Players to watch out for in the upcoming season of the Abu Dhabi T10 league:

1. Faf du Plessis

South Africa’s star batter Faf du Plessis is all set to make his Abu Dhabi T10 debut this season. He will be featuring for the Bangla Tigers in this edition and will also have the added responsibility of leading the side. He is one of the players who thrives under pressure in crunch moments and will be a key player on the side.

Faf du Plessis possess the ability to play innovative shots and change the fortunes of the game. He has been in good form lately, playing in the UAE leg of the IPL. While opening the innings alongside the young Ruturaj Gaikwad for the MS Dhoni-led side, he was instrumental in chipping in with big runs.

The batter finished as the second-highest run-getter for the side. He smashed 633 runs at an average of 45.21 from 16 matches. He will aim to take the momentum further for his side in the league.
