The Coronavirus-enforced lockdown is getting to many now with cases surging every day. India is the third worst-hit nation by the pandemic even as two million cases have crossed in the country. Even though cricket has resumed in England and other few nations, there is no such respite in India with the BCCI still charting out SOPs for the domestic cricketers.

For the Bollywood celebrities, it has been tougher with not much to do during the lockdown and social media has come to the fore for them. Over the last few months, even the cricketers and the celebrities have been interacting more with the fans on social media. Katrina Kaif has been no different either as she has kept her fans posting pictures on Instagram and Twitter.

However, this time around she has come up with a post which will delight the cricket fans. Katrina posted a picture with bat in one of her hands and stated that she is always ready to play cricket. The picture seems to be from the sets of one of her films. “Missing Cricket always ready to play properly attired or no,” her caption read.

Here’s her post:

Katrina Kaif’s favourite cricketer is Rahul Dravid

This is not the first time that Katrina Kaif has expressed her love for the sport. Previously, she had revealed that Rahul Dravid is her favourite cricketer and termed him as the true gentleman. “I like Rahul Dravid, who I believe is a true gentleman… He never seems to get upset, angry or hyper. Having said that I have never spoken more than three words with him. He is very shy,” she had said in one of the earlier interviews.

As far as her profession is concerned, Katrina Kaif is waiting for the release of ‘Sooryavanshi’ which was supposed to hit the theatres in March. However, the release has been put on hold since then due to the COVID-19 enforced lockdown. Theatres are still closed even as the movie is slated to release in Diwali.
