Arjun Tendulkar hasn’t done anything of sorts, but the media attention is always on the kid as he is the son of the enigmatic Sachin Tendulkar, the former Indian cricketer. Unlike his father, Arjun bowls left-arm seam. He is tall and lanky and puts in a lot in his delivery stride. He doesn’t have a significant amount of pace, but it’s something which can be worked upon as his career shapes up.

The U19 selection for India’s tour of Sri Lanka next month must have come as a massive boost to Arjun’s career. Albeit, he would be disappointed for the fact that he won’t be eligible to play the 2020 U19 World Cup, the pacer would be keen to make the four-day matches as a platform to come in the selector’s radar for his next step in his already hyped start to his career.

Arjun bowls at the senior members

He was last spotted in London, training with the senior team. Arjun was seen taking priceless tips from Head Coach Ravi Shastri. In the meantime, he also bowled to some of the Indian batsmen. He ran in with venom, cocked his wrists in his stride and then honed in quite a few short-pitched deliveries. While Shikhar Dhawan cut him through the off-side, KL Rahul was caught in a precarious position.

Meanwhile, Arjun also had the privilege to bowl to the likes of Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni and the experience is expected to do a world of good to his confidence. At the age of 18, most of the common people strive to search for further endeavors after completing education.

It’s only after a few years that they are able to make a name for themselves in their respective professions. The story of Arjun Tendulkar is a tad different through at the very age as he seems to have taken rapid strides in the cricketing world.
