There will no bilateral series between the arch-rivals India and Pakistan in near future but we can witness both sides facing each other this year when they play the Asia Cup in September. The officials recently changed the host country from India to UAE. The much-awaited Asia Cup will take place from September 18 to 30 in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

The six teams participating in the tournament are Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Qualifier side, these six sides have been divided into two groups with India, Pakistan, and Qualifier taking the Group A and the other three teams taking the Group B.

Group A: India, Pakistan, Qualifier

Group B: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka

According to reports on Cricingif, the arch-rivals will take on each other in the first group game on September 21. If the qualifier team doesn’t defeat both India and Pakistan, we can witness the India and Pakistan take on each other on 27th September. If all goes well, both the sides will play the final too!
