The Sri Lankans are the dark horse in this year’s tournament as they are certainly not the favourites but have showcased their abilities in white-ball cricket in the series against defending T20 World Cup champions Australia earlier this year.

Dasun Shanaka’s men will be donning a dark blue jersey with a tinge of orange, yellow, and red, representing their national flag.

Sri Lanka were originally going to host this year’s tournament, but due to financial and political unrest in the island nation, the competition was moved to UAE. But the Sri Lankan players have shown tremendous fighting spirit even in times of crisis, and all the other teams will be wary of the islanders’ threat.
