Asia Cup 2025 Schedule
The 17th edition of the Asia Cup is all set to be played in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from September 9 to 28, 2025. India, the defending champions and record eight-time winners, will look to defend their title and continue their dominance in the tournament.
This year’s competition will be played in the T20I format, leading up to the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in India and Sri Lanka next year. Notably, the tournament will see eight teams in action for the first time, divided into two groups of four. The top two sides from each group will progress to the Super Four stage, from where the finalists will be decided. In all, the Asia Cup 2025 will feature 19 matches across Dubai and Abu Dhabi, with Dubai hosting 11 games, including the final on September 28.
Group A features India, Pakistan, the hosts UAE, and Oman, while Group B includes Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Hong Kong. The India-Pakistan clash on September 14 in Dubai is set to be the marquee fixture of the group stage.
