Bangladesh and Pakistan have currently locked horns with each other for the second Test match at the Shere Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur. Whilst the match, the Pakistan skipper Babar Azam decided to take the charge of the ball. The swashbuckling batter is known for his heroics with the bat but this time around he decided to try his luck with the ball as well.

The on-lookers were intrigued by watching Babar bowl an over in the ongoing Test match. The batter has created problems for the best of the bowlers of the world but this time decided to walk in their shoes and get an experience of the same. However, he bowled an over for the very first time in his international career, and not only the fans but the entire cricketing fraternity was fascinated to see him bowl.

However, it is to be noted that after rain-interrupted the game on Day two, the Pakistan players found a way to keep themselves entertained. They played a match in their dressing room wherein the Pakistan captain claimed to have finished with 10 wickets. “Babar was on fire and according to him, he finished with a 10-for. He got Bilal Asif out thrice in slips (as Imam tells us),” the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) wrote on Twitter.

About the match, the rain had its say on day two as only 6.2 overs were bowled in the game, whereas Day three was completely washed out. After having won the toss, Pakistan had decided to bat first. Openers Abid Ali (39) and Abdullah Shafique (25) provided the team with a solid start.

However, Taijul Islam sent back both the set batters. But then Azhar Ali (56) and Babar Azam (76) held the fort of the side. Post that, half-centuries from Fawad Alam and Mohammad Rizwan then further put Pakistan at the driver’s seat as they declared at 300-4.

The hosts found themselves in a spot of bother when they took the charge of the field with the bat. Pakistan’s Sajid Khan wreaked havoc as he ran through the opposition’s batting order and scalped six wickets.
