Bangladesh announces the squad for U19 World Cup 2018
Saif Hasan will lead the side in New Zealand for the tournament.

Under19 Cricket has given the game some of Its biggest stars. The 2018 edition of the U19 World Cup is set the start from 13th of January 2018. Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced its 15-man squad for the tournament including seven players as a standby option. BCB’s junior selectors and coach Wright were present during the announcement at the press conference.
The team will depart for New Zealand on December 26 to take part in the tourney. They have a couple of practice matches before their opening game in the tournament. The squad includes seven batsmen, two wicket-keepers, four pacemen and two spinners.
Coach Wright reacts
Speaking in the press conference coach Wright felt happy with the squad he has for the world cup. “I am really confident with the group we have assembled”, said Wright according to BCB media release. He said that the batsmen have scored plenty of runs during the home series against Afghanistan and Nepal. He said, “I think we are in a fantastic place (with our batting). So the batting side of things is nowhere near my concern now”.
Saif Hasan will lead the side in New Zealand for the tournament. He captained the side during the Asia Cup 2017 as well. Earlier, the Indian board had announced their squad for the World Cup as well. Prithvi Shaw who scored a lot of runs in the ongoing Ranji Trophy will lead the Indian side. Former Indian skipper Rahul Dravid is coaching the Indian side,
