West Indies have registered a nail-biting victory against Bangladesh in the second Test of the two-match series. The visiting team had set a target of 231 runs in the fourth innings. The hosts came very close to a thrilling win but fell short by just 17 runs. Young Mehidy Hasan gave hopes to the hosts with his 33-run knock but it was not enough for a triumph.
Bangladesh were bowled out for 213 runs in the fourth innings with a half-century from opener Tamim Iqbal. Rahkeem Cornwall took 4 wickets for visitors, while captain Kraigg Brathwaite and Jomel Warrican picked up 3 wickets each. With this win, West Indies have clinched the Test series by a margin of 2-0.

24 – Mehidy Hasan completed his 100 Test wickets in this match. He became the youngest and quickest Bangladeshi bowler to complete 100 wickets in Tests. He took 24 matches to achieve the milestone, while earlier Taijul Islam had completed his 100 Test wickets in 25 matches.
