The 10th edition of the T20 World Cup got underway on February 7, and the final was played on March 8. The tournament was co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka. The tournament was played in the same format as the previous edition in 2024.
India won the tournament once again, defeating New Zealand in the final at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. During the tournament, batters ruled the roost, especially in the games that were played in India. Fans love high-scoring matches, and there were plenty of them right through to the final.
