Bangladesh’s left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman made every cricketing fan stand up and take notice in his debut ODI series against India in 2015, where he singlehandedly defeated India 2-1 in a three-match series for the first time.

In this World T20, Mustafizur came in with an injury he picked up in Asia Cup T20, but he got fit just in time, as Taskin Ahmed was banned for a suspect action. Mustafizur came back into the team and against New Zealand, returned the figures of 5/22 in 4 overs in Kolkata. He picked up 9 wickets in total in the tournament and did justice to his immense talent.

Jason Roy was drafted into the English team last year as ECB tried to revamp the team according to the modern day form of limited overs cricket. Roy is a well known big hitting opener in English county. His best came in the most crunch match against New Zealand in the semi-final at the Feroz Shah Kotla stadium. England was chasing 154 to win, batting second on the Kotla pitch and Roy decided to blast his team out of trouble with 78 off 44 balls. This helped England to defeat New Zealand and move to the finals.

Left-arm seamer David Willey impressed everyone with his ability to bowl exceptionally well in the death overs in the NatWest blast. He was quickly drafted into the English team and made his debut in this World T20 after a brilliant series against New Zealand and South Africa. Willey picked up 10 wickets in this tournament with the best of 3/20 at an average of 15.50 and an economy of 7.57. Willey is indeed a brilliant T20 bowler and will feature in more matches for England in upcoming series.

India finally found a bowler who could bowl yorkers and get them the economic overs at the death in Jasprit Bumrah. Though Bumrah picked up only 5 wickets in the World T20 2016, he definitely impressed by his ability to bowl yorkers at a considerable pace in the death overs and no one will forget the inswinging yorker he bowled to get rid of the dangerous Chris Gayle in the semi-final of the World T20 2016.<strong><br></strong>

New Zealand also found a brilliant all-rounder in Mitchell Santner in the 2015 limited overs series against England. Santner is an aggressive left-handed batsman and left-arm orthodox spinner. He showed his class against India in the opening match of the World T20 at Nagpur. Defending a total of around 120, New Zealand dismissed India for 78 runs with Santner taking 4/11 in the match. He took a total of 10 wickets in the World T20 at an economy of just 6.11 runs per over.<strong>  </strong>

Carlos Brathwaite will always be remembered for his four sixes off Ben Stokes in the final over of the World T20 final, when 19 runs was required by the West Indies to win the title. Brathwaite who had already picked up 3 wickets with the ball went on to hit 6,6,6,6 on the first four balls to win the match and the World T20 title for his team.

Brathwaite was picked for the West Indies team after some spectacular showing in the Caribbean Premier League and he was also picked up by IPL franchise Delhi Daredevils for INR 4.2 crores.

One of the most surprising facts of the World T20 2016 was that Indian left-arm pacer Ashish Nehra who made his international debut for India in 1999, made his World T20 debut for India 17 years after. Nehra made a comeback into the Indian team in 2015, after a strong show in that year’s IPL. He had last played for India in the semi-finals of the World Cup 2011 against Pakistan, where he had injured his hand and missed the finals due to the injury.

36-year-old Nehra picked up 5 wickets in the tournament but impressed one and all with his ability to get early breakthroughs as well as his death bowling. Especially against the West Indies in the semi-finals where he gave away just 25 runs and picked up 1 wicket in the defeat, where his fellow bowlers went for 43 and 48 runs respectively. It also earned him a place in the ICC team of the World T20 2016.

<p>Left-arm seamer David Willey impressed everyone with his ability to bowl exceptionally well in the death overs in the NatWest blast. He was quickly drafted into the English team and made his debut in this World T20 after a brilliant series against New Zealand and South Africa. Willey picked up 10 wickets in this tournament with the best of 3/20 at an average of 15.50 and an economy of 7.57. Willey is indeed a brilliant T20 bowler and will feature in more matches for England in upcoming series.</p>

<p>India finally found a bowler who could bowl yorkers and get them the economic overs at the death in Jasprit Bumrah. Though Bumrah picked up only 5 wickets in the World T20 2016, he definitely impressed by his ability to bowl yorkers at a considerable pace in the death overs and no one will forget the inswinging yorker he bowled to get rid of the dangerous Chris Gayle in the semi-final of the World T20 2016.<strong><br>

<h4><strong>5. Mitchell Santner (New Zealand):</strong></h4>

<p>New Zealand also found a brilliant all-rounder in Mitchell Santner in the 2015 limited overs series against England. Santner is an aggressive left-handed batsman and left-arm orthodox spinner. He showed his class against India in the opening match of the World T20 at Nagpur. Defending a total of around 120, New Zealand dismissed India for 78 runs with Santner taking 4/11 in the match. He took a total of 10 wickets in the World T20 at an economy of just 6.11 runs per over.<strong>  </strong></p>

<p>Carlos Brathwaite will always be remembered for his four sixes off Ben Stokes in the final over of the World T20 final, when 19 runs was required by the West Indies to win the title. Brathwaite who had already picked up 3 wickets with the ball went on to hit 6,6,6,6 on the first four balls to win the match and the World T20 title for his team.</p>
<p>Brathwaite was picked for the West Indies team after some spectacular showing in the Caribbean Premier League and he was also picked up by IPL franchise Delhi Daredevils for INR 4.2 crores.</p>

<p>One of the most surprising facts of the World T20 2016 was that Indian left-arm pacer Ashish Nehra who made his international debut for India in 1999, made his World T20 debut for India 17 years after. Nehra made a comeback into the Indian team in 2015, after a strong show in that year’s IPL. He had last played for India in the semi-finals of the World Cup 2011 against Pakistan, where he had injured his hand and missed the finals due to the injury.</p>
<p>36-year-old Nehra picked up 5 wickets in the tournament but impressed one and all with his ability to get early breakthroughs as well as his death bowling. Especially against the West Indies in the semi-finals where he gave away just 25 runs and picked up 1 wicket in the defeat, where his fellow bowlers went for 43 and 48 runs respectively. It also earned him a place in the ICC team of the World T20 2016.</p>
