Unfortunately for Jofra Archer, the year 2021 was a very heartbreaking year. The pacer who had made a promising start to his international career barely played barring the first three months. In fact, since his last appearance in March 2021, Archer has just been recovering from his elbow blow.

Initially in January 2021, the 26-year old had received a big cut in one of his fingers while cleaning a fish tank at home. However though the cut was well managed during the India tour, Archer still had to again fix the stiff finger. But overall his long-standing elbow injury which had previously undergone an operation was again treated to relieve the stress fracture.

In fact, the upcoming tour of WI was supposed to be the comeback series of Jofra Archer in 2022. But sadly after again getting operated, the ace England spearhead will now only resume again from the 2022 English summer. Overall a hiatus of almost a year has definitely created worrying issues regarding the future of the speedster’s career.
