Alyssa Healy is one of the most amazing women cricketers in the world today. The Australian wicketkeeper-batswoman recently broke the record of the highest individual score in WT20Is as she scored 148* against Sri Lanka recently, leaving her captain Meg Lanning behind. She is currently playing in WBBL for Sydney Sixers.

Healy, who is the niece of former Australia wicketkeeper Ian Healy, is the power couple of Australian cricket as she is married to Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc and the duo are seen as the most romantic couple in Australian cricketing scene. Healy married Starc in April of 2016, after knowing him from age of 9, when Starc started off as a wicketkeeper.

Alyssa Healy at her hilarious best

Alyssa Healy is known for her sense of humor, given that she was recently featured showing off her dance moves during one of the matches against Sri Lanka. She also holds the Guinness World Record for the highest catch of a cricket ball at 82.5m. She also received Belinda Clarke Medal at the Allan Border Medal ceremony by the CA in 2019.

During the first match of the WBBL 2019, Healy was mic’ed up by the 7Cricket crew who are the official broadcasters of the Women’s Big Bash League this season. At the same time, Mitchell Starc moved into the commentary room joining Lisa Sthalekar. When another fellow commentator announced that Starc had joined them live, the message was relayed to Healy in the middle as well and she quipped, that it was the ‘bring your husband to work day’. This hilarious quip which left Starc, Sthalekar and other commentator laughing.

Here is the video of Healy making the quip:

Recently during the Ashes 2019, Mitchell Starc and Alyssa Healy did something incredible as both were caught doing astonishing things some 2948 kilometers apart. While Starc, who was bowling Australia on Day 5 of the 4th Ashes Test, picked a wicket; at the same time, Alyssa Healy, who was representing Australia against West Indies in Antigua, hit a boundary. This was some amazing coincidence from the most adored couple in cricket.
