Indian fans witnessed boundless joy the day Virat Kohli’s men humbled arch-rivals Pakistan in the ICC World Cup in Manchester by 89 runs. Batting first, India put up a total of 336 for 5 and then restricted Pakistan to 212 for 6 in 40 overs, when they were required to score 302 as per the DLS rule. With this win, India maintained their dominance over Pakistan at the World Cup and also ensured that they remained among the top four in this edition.

Among the several noted fans who thronged Old Trafford on June 16 was Bollywood star Ranveer Singh. The 33-year-old actor, who will portray the character of Kapil Dev in the film ‘83’ set to release next year, was found enjoying the electric atmosphere at the venue to the hilt and even consoling the heart-broken Pakistani fans after their team lost the prestige battle.

Ranveer, married to actress Deepika Padukone, also clicked selfies with a number of Indian cricketers including ace all-rounder Hardik Pandya. He also posted his selfie with Hardik on Twitter and captioned it: “Eat. Sleep. Dominate. Repeat. The name is Hardik. Hardik Pandya. @hardikpandya7 ma boi #unstoppable.”

While for the Indian fans, it was yet another exciting post from the stylish actor, the post received a response from an unlikely source. Former WWE Universal champion Brock Lesnar’s advocate Paul Heyman chipped in and replied to it.

Heyman has been using the catchphrase “Eat Sleep CONQUER Repeat” ever since Lesnar put an end to The Undertaker’s unbeaten streak at WrestleMania in 2014 to show how much dominant he has been. He took exception to the actor’s use of the phrase and reminded him that he might opt for litigation in response to his post.

This is not the first time that Heyman has responded over paraphrasing of his mantra. The official Twitter account of the Cricket World Cup had praised Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Mahendra Singh Dhoni after his (ODI) series-winning batting in Australia in January this year. It lauded Dhoni by posting his smiling picture and captioning it: “Eat. Sleep. Finish games. Repeat. Life as @msdhoni”.

Heyman responded over the use of his catchphrase and even sought royalties even while calling Dhoni amazing.
