After Rashid Khan, it was the turn of DJ Bravo to meet his Indian mates Down Under. Joined by Russell Radhakrishnan (Team Manager – Chennai Super Kings and Melbourne Stars), Bravo paid a surprise visit to the hotel where the Indian team is staying. The Windies all-rounder is another one of those cricketers who shares cordial bonds with the Indian players.
Bravo is currently occupied playing the Big Bash League (BBL) for the Melbourne Stars. Even though he didn’t really have the best of seasons so far, he did manage to create some impact for his team in a few games. However, the Stars are still languishing down at the bottom of the points table with only six points in eight games.
Time for some Biryani?
MS Dhoni loves Biryani and there were several instances of him showing his love for the dish earlier. The former Indian skipper also changed the team hotel once when the staff did not allow Ambati Rayudu to carry the dish into the premises. As per the stories that Russell Radhakrishnan uploaded, it seems as if he himself prepared this signature dish for his beloved Thala.
Russell and Bravo met Dhoni, Ravindra Jadeja and Kedar Jadhav in the team hotel and it was a mini-reunion of sorts. The Chennai Super Kings social media handles shared the pictures of these cricketers meeting each other in Australia. ‘#Yellove Reunion! #DownUnder#WhistlePodu 🦁💛 PC: @russcsk,’ the Instagram post read.

Team India will face Australia on 18 January 2018 for the series decider. MS Dhoni seems to be in a good frame of mind with two back-to-back half-centuries. He is yet to come into his zone completely and could evolve into a mighty force if he does that. After the ODI series, India will fly to New Zealand to play them in ODIs and T20Is.
