Rajasthan Royals had a phenomenal campaign in the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). With Sanju Samson at the helm, Rajasthan reached the finals of the marquee tournament. However, They lost at the hands of Gujarat Titans in the summit clash and failed to go all the way.

Rajasthan would look to bring their A-game into play in the forthcoming edition of the lucrative T20 tournament and clinch their second IPL title. Samson & Co. would kick-start their campaign against Sunrisers Hyderabad on April 2. As RR look to create history in IPL 2023, let us look at three of their players who might garner a lot of eyeballs in the T20 carnival.

Here are three RR Players to watch out for in IPL 2023

3. Riyan Parag

Riyan Parag has been a proven performer in the Indian domestic circuit. He has featured in 38 List-A matches and amassed 1308 runs at an average of 38.47. On the bowling front, he has bagged 36 wickets at an economy of 5.02. Coming to the shortest format, the 21-year-old has scored 1455 runs in 81 T20 games at a strike rate of 133.24 and bagged 30 wickets in those outings.

Riyan made his IPL debut in 2019 for Rajasthan Royals and has been associated with the franchise since then. However, he has been quite inconsistent with the bat and scored just 522 runs in 47 matches at a strike rate of 124.88. Further, the batting all-rounder has not had much impact with the ball yet.

Riyan has been in a rich vein of form of late. In the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2022, he piled on 552 runs in nine matches and bagged 10 wickets for Assam. Then, in the recently culminated Ranji Trophy 2022-23, the Guwahati-born notched up 400 runs in seven games and picked up 25 scalps at an economy of 3.81. Riyan would look to replicate his form of the domestic circuit to IPL 2023 and set the marquee tournament ablaze with his performances.
