Best XI from sold players in the mini auction-
1. Mayank Agarwal
Mayank Agarwal was released by Punjab Kings in the players retention in November prior to the auction. The former Punjab skipper is all set to don the colours of Sunrisers Hyderabad in the new season as the franchise secured his services for a massive 8.25 crores.
Pigeonholed as a limited-overs specialist, Mayank has the potential to get the vital runs and stitch partnerships which could hand advantage to the side. In the previous season with Punjab, he could not particularly bat in his designated spot and had to come down the order which clearly impacted his performances.
Now, having joined the SRH side, Mayank will certainly look to overcome his failures of being unable to remain consistent in the shortest format. Moreover, he also brings in leadership skills to the table and Sunrisers could ponder over the idea of having him in that role.
