Middle Order: Sam Curran, Jitesh Sharma, Liam Livingstone

In the middle order, PBKS are likely to continue with Sam Curran at number 4. The star player batted in the same position in the SA20 earlier this year. PBKS recognized it and got him to bat in the same position in the XI for their game against DC. At number 5, the 2014 runner ups had Jitesh Sharma.

While he did not have any impact in the first game with the bat, he can be trusted to play a key role against RCB. He can play in different positions from numbers 5 to 7. For PBKS, he is likely to bat at 5, where he has succeeded till now.

At number 6, PBKS would play Liam Livingstone as the finisher. The star player can contribute with the ball as well. Given the impact player rule, PBKS did not need his services with the ball against DC. The aggressive batter won the match for PBKS against DC with his timely finishing.
