4. Naimur Rahman 6/132, 2000 Test series

In 2000, after receiving Test status from the International Cricket Council (ICC), Bangladesh hosted India to play their first-ever Test match at the Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka. In the debut Test game, Bangladesh delivered a solid batting performance by posting 400 runs on the board with Aminul Islam’s impressive knock of 145 runs.

After a brilliant batting display in the historic Test match, the Bangla Tigers were looking to have a good time with the ball also. Naimur Rahman, the then-skipper of Bangladesh, led from the front by picking up six wickets to end India's first innings on 429. In his swashbuckling spell, he also took the wickets of Shiv Sunder Das, Murali Karthik, Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Saba Karim and Ajit Agarkar.

At the end, India won the match by nine wickets as Bangladesh batters delivered a below-par batting performance in the second innings and were dished out scoring just 91 runs. But Rahman with his outstanding bowling display in the historic game made the match memorable for Bangladesh cricket fans.
