1. Liton Das- Most runs by a Bangladesh player in a single T20 World Cup
The top-order batter Liton Das has been in good form in the international circuit. In three games of the T20I series against West Indies, Das returned with 63 runs. He then followed it by slamming 101 runs in three appearances against Zimbabwe. In his only ODI appearance against Zimbabwe, he mustered 81 off 89 balls.
Currently, he is the top-scorer for the Bangladesh team in the Tri-series against New Zealand and Pakistan with 50 runs in two innings. With a flexible role as an opener or as a number three batter, the 27-year-old can play an anchor role or produce attacking innings, due to his solid technique.
The prolific batter certainly has the capability to play big innings and has displayed consistency with contributions to the team across all formats. He can break the record for most runs by a Bangladesh player in a single T20 World Cup edition. The current record is held by Tamim Iqbal, who scored 295 runs in the 2016 edition.
