The festival of the IPL 2024 is just around the corner. The IPL 2024 will begin on March 22 with the defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) clashing in the opening match. This encounter will take place at the iconic MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

This season of the tournament will be missing some big names who were part of the IPL 2019. Several cricketers, who were big names, were seen in that tournament, which was the last played before the onset of the Coronavirus pandemic. It was a farewell for a couple of players, while some of them were moving to their final appearances in the IPL.

Here are 5 Indians who were part of 2019 IPL but wouldn't feature 2024:

5. Robin Uthappa

Robin Uthappa was playing for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in 2019 edition. However, his performance for the two-time champions was very poor. He managed just 282 runs in 12 matches at an average of 31.33 and a strike rate of 115.10. His highest score was 67* and this was his only fifty in the IPL 2019.

He then moved to Rajasthan Royals for IPL 2020 and then to Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2021. He called time on his career in IPL 2022 and retired with 4952 runs in 205 matches in the tournament history. He hit 27 fifties with a strike rate of 130.35 and an average of 27.51. His highest score remained 88.
