The T20 World Cup 2022 is not far now and all the teams are trying to find their best possible playing XI combination for the all-important tournament. Talking about team India, the Men in Blue under the leadership of skipper Rohit Sharma will want to repeat the heroics of the ICC World T20 2007.

While a strong Indian squad with a mixture of youth and experience has been chosen by the selection committee, there were also some names that missed the list by the barest of margins. In this article, we will talk about five such Indian players who can make it to India's squad after T20 World Cup 2022.

5. Rahul Tripathi

Rahul Tripathi has been a consistent performer for every team he has represented, but the right-handed batter has not been able to seal his spot in the Indian squad. To note, Rahul was named in the Indian white-ball squad recently, but he never got a chance to make his debut.

Talking about his numbers in the Indian Premier League (IPL), Tripathi made his IPL debut against Delhi Capitals in 2017 and since then he has amassed almost 1798 runs in 76 innings. He also has ten fifties to his name.

Tripathi looks comfortable against both spin and pace and he is one of the most strong contenders to represent India in the shortest format of the game in the future.
