4. Ashwani Kumar (MI)

Vignesh was not the only player from the Mumbai Indians franchise who surprised everyone on debut as a 23-year-old left-arm seamer; Ashwani Kumar also made the list, taking an incredible four-wicket haul against defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders. Ashwani has decent pace and movement with some variations as well. The only thing that he has slightly lacked is consistency.
The Mohali-born pacer in the three games he has played has taken six wickets at an average of 17.50. Though his economy has been slightly on the higher side, his wicket-taking ability and the rarity of Left-arm pacers within the Indian team might force the selectors to pick him in the T20I squad.
