The blockbuster India vs Pakistan clash at the Asia Cup 2025 is all set to take place on Sunday, September 14, at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, and unsurprisingly, the excitement around it is immense. This will be the first time India and Pakistan meet since the Pahalgam terror attack, which had significantly strained ties between the two nations.
While bilateral series remain off the table, the Indian Sports Ministry has given the green signal for India to participate in multilateral tournaments. The Men in Blue are the defending champions and have been slotted in Group A alongside Pakistan, UAE, and Oman.
Their campaign begins against the UAE on September 10, before the much-awaited contest against Pakistan just four days later. On paper, it seems like a single meeting, but with the tournament’s structure in place, fans could potentially witness these two go up against each other three times in just two weeks. If both teams qualify for the Super 4 stage, they are almost certain to meet again, and if they make it to the final, a third clash awaits on September 28.
Naturally, such big games have pushed ticket demand through the roof. Fans from across India, Pakistan, and the South Asian diaspora are flying to Dubai, willing to pay a premium to be part of this rivalry. Notably, tickets, airlines, and hotels' prices are going through the roof. Tickets are the hottest commodity for the India-Pakistan clash. Normal entry starts at AED 440 (INR 10,565), while premium hospitality packages soar to AED 60,500 (INR 14.5 lakh). Organizers have also introduced bundles, such as Group A packages beginning at AED 475 (INR 11,000) and Super 4 plus Final packages at AED 525 (INR 12,500). Travel agencies in India are offering curated trips, with Indo-Pak match tickets bundled between INR 51,000 and INR 1.57 lakh, depending on seating.
Flights
Flights to Dubai around September 13 to 14 are in high demand, with return fares climbing quickly. From Bengaluru to Dubai (one-way), tickets are around INR 13,000, while Mumbai to Dubai starts at INR 11,000. Delhi fares are slightly higher, at INR 15,000 for economy seats. Return fares, especially on popular carriers like Emirates and Air India, could easily cross INR 25,000 to INR 40,000 closer to match day.
Hotels
Accommodation in Dubai ranges widely depending on comfort and location. Budget hotels near Dubai Sports City or Bur Dubai are available for around INR 5,000 per night, ideal for fans looking to control costs. Mid-range options, including 3 to 4-star hotels, fall between INR 9,000 to INR 12,000. However, luxury seekers should expect to spend INR 18,000 or more per night for 5-star properties, with prices rising further at prime locations like Downtown Dubai. Travel agencies are including hotel stays in their packages, with deals spanning INR 76,000to INR 88,000 per person for 3 to 4 days.
