Bangladesh cricket team is having a good time nowadays as they again asserted their supremacy at their home by routing India in the three-match One-Day International series by 2-1. In the absence of their regular One-Day captain Tamim Iqbal, the team played amazing cricket under the leadership of their stand-in skipper Litton Das. Riding on the powerful performances of Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Shakib Al Hasan, and Ebadot Hossain, Bangladesh came out as a potent side in ODIs.

Now, the Bangla Tigers will strive to stun the Men in Blue in the forthcoming two-match Test series as well. Team India, after losing the ODI series, will look to have the last laugh by vanquishing the hosts in the couple of Test matches. This year, the Bangla Tigers started the year with a bang with a win over mighty New Zealand at Bay Oval, Mount Manganui. Keeping that game in mind, India won’t take the hosts lightly and look forward to having a game plan against the Bangladesh players who could cause trouble.

Here are three Bangladesh players India need to be wary of in the upcoming Test series

3. Mehidy Hasan Miraz

Mehidy Hasan Miraz has emerged as a star performer for Bangladesh in the last few years in both ODIs and Tests. In recent years, he has been an excellent all-rounder for the team delivering some amazing match-winning performances with both bat and ball.

This year, in the Test victory against New Zealand in January, he played a crucial role for his team picking up four wickets and scoring 47 runs. In the 2016 and 2017 maiden Test triumphs against England and Australia respectively, Mehidy played an important role with his solid bowling displays .

After having amazing outings against the Men in Blue in the ODI series, the 25-year-old could become a headache in the Test series too. Noting his past heroics in Test matches against quality teams, India will have to be careful of him in the couple of matches.
