3. David Willey

David Willey has been a consistent performer in the T20 circuit. The 32-year-old has played 241 games in the shortest format and picked as many wickets at an economy of 7.94. On the batting front, he has scored 3369 runs at a strike rate of 137.96.

The bowling all-rounder has shown that he can make the ball talk in the starting phase of the innings and is a handy contributor with the bat. The Bangalore franchise roped in the England cricketer for the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League. With Josh Hazlewood unavailable for the early games of the season, Wiley was slotted in the XI.  However, he failed to make a mark with his performances.

The ace all-rounder played four games for RCB and managed to pick just one wicket. He had a horror show with the bat too and scored mere 18 runs at a strike rate of 60.00. The left-arm pacer was dropped from the side when Hazlewood came into the scheme of things and was not picked again.

With top-quality all-rounders like Sam Curran, Ben Stokes, and Chris Woakes expected to feature at the mini-auction 2023, Wiley might be released from the squad, and RCB might look for other capable options.
