1. Dwayne Bravo

Dwayne Bravo is one of the greatest T20 cricketers in world cricket. The veteran all-rounder has shown his mettle in T20 leagues around the world and his numbers tell the story. He has picked an insane tally of 614 wickets in 556 T20 matches at an economy of 8.23 and scored 6894 runs at a strike rate of 126.26.

Bravo has been exceptional in the Indian Premier League and bagged 183 wickets in 161 games at an economy of 8.38 and scored 1560 runs at a strike rate of 129.57. Even in the last season, he had an outstanding run with the ball for Chennai Super Kings as he scalped 16 wickets in 10 games at an economy of 8.71.

Aged 39, the T20 legend is at the twilight of his career, and hence, the CSK management decided to move past Bravo. This was truly a bombshell as the Chennai franchise is known to be big on player loyalty and ending a 10-year association was a surprising decision.

However, having also released Chris Jordan and Adam Milne, it is likely MS Dhoni & co. will go fishing for death bowling options at the upcoming auction. But if the think tank does get its first-choice picks at the auction, it could re-sign the West Indies all-rounder to lessen the death-bowling concerns. Thus, a Bravo-CSK reunion can’t be ruled out yet.
