2. Jason Holder

Jason Holder has been a proven performer in the shortest format of the game. The 31-year-old is a wily customer with the ball and has bagged 197 wickets in 200 T20 matches at an economy of 7.86. Besides his bowling exploits, he is a ferocious striker of the cricket ball and has smashed 1758 runs in 149 innings at a strike rate of 126.38.

Lucknow Super Giants picked the West Indies all-rounder at the 2022 mega auction to provide depth to the side. Though Holder took 14 wickets in 12 games, he leaked runs at an alarming rate of 9.42. The Barbados-born did a decent job with the bat, smashing 58 runs at a strike rate of 131.82.

The veteran all-rounder was not able to perform as per his lofty standards and thus, the Lucknow franchise released him ahead of the 2023 player auction. However, LSG’s ploy to part ways with Holder could be due to his price tag of INR 8.75 crore. And if the ace all-rounder is available at the auction at a lower price, Lucknow might grab him with both hands.
